Enhancements
Amjay Software Solutions Integration
-
Propel Rx is now integrated with the following features offered by Amjay Software Solutions:
-
If a methadone prescription fails to send to MethaMeasure, Propel Rx will retry the transaction 3 times without delays. The time gap between retries will then increase and if the transaction still fails after 14 days, Propel Rx will stop attempting to send the transaction.
Methadone Split Labels
-
The split label functionality in the Rx Detail Extended tab has been enabled for methadone prescriptions. You can now edit the number of vial labels that print for these prescriptions and split their prescription quantities among these labels.
If the methadone prescription is processed using a methadone DIN, the split label quantities must be expressed in millilitres, even if the prescription quantity is entered in milligrams. This is not applicable for methadone prescriptions filled using a methadone Mixture Folder.
For more information, see Split Label Functionality
Fixes
Alberta Real Time Integration
-
When a pharmacist prescribed prescription is filled by a Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician user, the prescriber's name should display for the prescription on Netcare. Only if the prescriber record does not exist on the EHR, the prescriber will display as "Unknown" on Netcare.
Labels
-
Previously a TP PIN entered in the Third Party tab did not print on the official receipt for prescriptions billed only to Cash. Now, regardless of the plans that are billed, the TP PIN will print on the official receipt for Half, Thermal, and Daily Laser labels.
-
The Price on Vial Copy preference is now editable in Label Preferences. Upon upgrade to Propel Rx 1.8 SP2 Postinstall, this preference will be turned OFF for Ontario pharmacies. For all other provinces, the previous setting prior to the upgrade will be carried forward.
